Spiral Landscapes

Spiral Landscapes is a marimba quartet that incorporates techniques and concepts of minimalism, poly- rhythms as well as influences of Astor Piazolla’s tango music. The piece is approximately 6 minutes long and is scored for two 4.3 and two 5 octave marimbas, but it could be played with just four 4.3 instruments. All players use 2 mallets.
